| BJP Beopar Cell urges Govt to re-organize tax structure | | | Early Times Reporter

Criticizing the policies of the state government due to which economy of the state is degrading day by day, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Beopar Cell urged upon the state government to provide some sops to the business community of the state.
Addressing a press conference here today State President Kulbhushan Mahotra said that the government is misusing the imposition of Article 370 in state and is harassing the business community on one pretext or another.
He highlighted the demands of the business community including re-organize the VAT structure in state which, he said is on higher side as compared to other states of country; extension of loan relief to the poor businessmen of the state, waiving off of the service tax in state and to develop and modernize the dilapidated tourists sites of Jammu.
He asked the state government to provide insurance cover to the registered businessmen who pay a large amount of their income as tax to the government under various taxes imposed by the government.
