Surinder Mohan of Survey of India (SOI), S P Sharma of National Sample Survey of India (NSSO) and Rajinder Gupta of Regional Research Laboratory (RRL) were leading with two wins each after round two of the Chess tournament organized by the Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC) as part of its Annual Sports Meet at MA Stadium here today.
Anil Kumar of Account General (AG) and S K Sharma of Central Water Commission (CWC) were trailing behind with one point each in their respective accounts.
Final of the event shall be played tomorrow with the holding of remaining two rounds. The competition was witnessed besides others by Ashok Chadha (AG), Surinder Mohan (SOI), Gulzar Singh (ASI) and B S Jamwal (ASI), all members sports committee.
The event is being conducted by national arbiter and former state champion, S P Sharma of NSSO.
