A meeting of United Teachers Association (UTA) was held at Krishan Chander Park under the presidentship of Manjeet Kumar Sharma, president UTA. The meeting was attended by masters, teachers, Rehbar-e- Talim an E.V’s teachers in large number, who had come from Mandi, Surankote, Sathra, Kanuyian and Haveli etc places.
In the meeting speakers highlighted their genuine demands, which include immediate transfer of over stay of staff. They also demanded that there should be transparent transfer policy of the employees, regularization of ReT teachers and enhancement in honorarium. Speakers also demanded that borer allowance be sanctioned in favour of employees, as it is given to the employees working in district Doda. Speakers appreciated the steps taken by Chief Minister against corrupt officer/officials. The meeting among other was attended Zaki Haider, Ravinder Singh, Lekh Raj Dutta, Rafiq Bhat, Qaleb Abbas, Gajan Singh, Iqbal Singh, Najmal Jaffri, Abrar Ahmed, Zulfkar Ali, Zahoor Ahmed, Azaz, Hussain Shah, Padamdev Singh.
