| PDP leader hails Jai Ram’s statement on LoC trade | | | Early Times Reporter

State secretary and spokesperson of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) Renu Azad has appreciated statement of Union Minister of State for Commernce Jai Ram Ramesh regarding opening of the trans LoC trade on both sides of border.
Interacting with media persons, Mrs Azad said that it was result of the policies being propagated by the PDP that both India and Pakistan have decided to open border for trade and commerce. She said that since its formation PDP has been advocating dialogue for solving all problems. She said that first opening of Uri-Muzaffarabad road and then decision of the both the government to start trans LoC trade was vindication of the stand taken by Mufti Mohammed Sayed.
Mrs Azad said that PDP leadership through its programmes and polices has convinced both India and Pakistan to take steps towards peace.
She also endorsed stand taken by PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti for creating job opportunities for unemployed youth of the State. She said that there was need of the hour to start fast track recruitment process in the State. |
