| JWAM demands Sarabjeet’s release | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 18 Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) led by Sunil Dimple held massive protest rally against Pakistan government for issuing death warrant against Sarabjeet Singh am India national lodging in Pakistan prison. Addressing the protestors Dimple said, granting death sentence to Sarabjeet will lead to bitter relations between the two countries and will be great set back to peace process. He urged upon the centre government plus all national political parties to use their good offices for the release of Sarabjeet who is innocent, beside other Indian prisoners lambasting in Pak Jails. Beside he also appealed to president Musharaf and to Aasif Zardari and Nawaz Sharief release prisoners including Sarabjeet so as to maintain good neighborly relations. He also appealed them step terrorism activities in J&K and added that Afzal Guru is moving freely in Jail in India, though he attached parliament. He said struggle will continue till Sarbjeet is set free, and handed over to India. Others who also addressed the demonstration were, Ashok Khanna, Ram Parkash Sharma, Ishar Dass, Surinder Singh, Chuni Lal, Vineet, Vipin, Rakesh, Dev Raj, Mukesh, Ajay Kumar, D.N. Bhat and Raman. |
