| JKNTUF urges Govt to fulfill demands | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 18 To focus the attention of state government towards the demands of various government employees including Anganwari workers, education volunteers and daily wagers, the Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union (JKNTUF) held a massive protest rally here today. Addressing a large number of protestors, president JKNTUF, Mohamad Gafoor Dar said that due to the delaying policies of the state government, the peaceful agitating employees are suffering badly as the government has failed to mitigate the demands of the employees. He added that if the demands of the employees are not met by the government, the employees would be left with no other option than to intensify their agitation. NTUF asked the government to provide 6% DA from Jan. 08, enhancement of the wages of daily wagers, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, regularization of dialy wagers and other demands. Among others who address the protestors were, Rajinder Singh, Mukhtar Singh, Mohamad Malikm Birbal Sharma, Parkasho Devi and Satpal Singh. |
