Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mubarak Mandi organized an annual day function were minister of state for education and forest G M Saroori was the chief guest while director school education A.K Raina and former mayor NS Jamwal were the guests of honour.
Addressing students and the staff, the minister appreciated the achievements of the school in all fields. Saroori on the occasion assured that the demands put forth by the principal will be looked into due course while the burning demands of shortage of staff in Mathematics, English and providing of additional computers will be taken on priority basis.
Raina lauded the role of the teaching staff in general and the principal in particular for the dedication shown to uplift the education standards of the institution. He advised the teaching staff to take imparting of education as a mission of their life. Minister along with director school as Ex-Mayor and principal awarded the prizes to the students who excelled in academics and sports. Earlier Shashi Jamwal, principal presented the annual report and highlighted the achievements of the school during the previous session. A charter of demands was also presented before the concerned authorities. |
