| Sharma demands CBI inquiry into his son’s death | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 19 Ram Paul Sharma, father of the deceased Aneesh Sharma today demanded a CBI inquiry in death of his sixteen year son, who was killed in police firing at Domanna some three years ago. This demand was made by him while addressing a press conference here today which was organized by the Jammu Joints Students Federation (JJSF). While tears trickling down the cheeks, Ram Pal Sharma said that government could by no way return his son back but a CBI inquiry in the entire episode could definitely expose those involved in his killing. Accusing government for not fulfilling the promises, Ram Pal said that neither another son has been offered a government job nor compensation, as promised, was released till date to his family. JJSF district president Ram Ji Sharma on the occasion demanded a job to the next kith and kin of the deceased family and blamed the government for turning deaf ears to this genuine demand. He also declared that JJSF would organize a cricket tournament in memory of late Aneesh Sharma in the city. Pratap Singh Jamwal, Satvir Jamwal, Rawat Singh and Naveen Sharma besides the younger brother deceased Aneel Sharma were also present at the press conference. |
