| 2 HM militants, 3 HuM OGW's arrested | | Arms, ammunition recovered | | Early Times Reporter

Security forces today claimed to have apprehended two HM militants and three Over Ground Workers of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen outfit during different raids across Kashmir valley.
Police sources said that acting on a tip off cops of police and 166 CRPF arrested two locally trained HM militants during Naka checking at Darpora Chermarg road Pulwama and recovered 32 live rounds of Chinese Pistol and an IED weighing approximately five Kgs concealed in a steel Tin along with remote control circuit from the possession. Police has registered a case in this regard.
The apprehended militants have been identified as Mehraj-ud-Din Bhat, S/o Mohd Abdullah, R/o Chermarg and Mohd Maqbool Yatoo, S/o Gh. Nabi, R/o Mujmarg.
Meanwhile, three Over Ground workers of Harkat-ul- Mujahideen were apprehended during Naka checking at Nowpora, Sopore in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.
Three hand grenades and 10 rounds of AK ammunition have been recovered from Mohd Aslam Najar. Police has registered a case in this regard.
The arrested workers have been identified as Irshad Ahmad Sheikh, S/o Sonaullah, R/o Sangrampora, Mohd Aslam Najar, S/o Mohd Akbar, R/o Mankak Sopore and Ab. Hamid Najar, S/o Ghulam Din, R/o Mankak Sopore. |
