Jammu | Mar 19
Led by Mandal President Ch. Vikram Randhawa, hundreds of BJP activists from Gandhi Nagar Mandal, today took out a protest march from Pucca Talab, Bahu Fort, and held a massive demonstration at Bagh-e- Bahu against price-rise and Roshni Act
State Vice-President & JMC Councillor Suresh Jamwal, while addressing the demonstrators, said that the five year rule of the Congress-PDP coalition in the state has brought miseries to the common people. The coalition in the state has failed to ensure regular supply of ration and kerosene oil at the depots. She said the people are being misled on the slogans of—”good governance”, “work culture”, “accountability” and “corruption free administration”.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa, on this occasion, said that the steep rise in the prices of essential items have made it very difficult for a poor person to manage even two time meals for the family.
Jaideep Sharma, Arun Khosla, Rajiv Charak, Shubh Chander Verma, Hardesh Kumar, Capt. Moti Lal, and Sher Singh also addressed the protestors.
