Jammu | Mar 19
Asking the Jammuties to rise to the occasion and discourage those leaders who have been changing chameleon colors, the BJP spokesperson Ramesh Arora charged National Conference of being Kashmir centric and wanted to go back to 1953 position.
Commenting on recent statement of Dr Farooq Abdullah about the ongoing militancy in the state and at the same time expressing sympathy with Jammu region, the BJP spokesperson called upon the voters to be bold enough and out rightly reject the NC’s demand on autonomy which is aimed at to disintegrate the country and the people of Jammu.
Arora further stated that all hopes of good governance and corruption free government, were dashed to the ground and all promises made by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad have proved only slogans and political compulsion to remain in power. He held him responsible for encouraging PDP to make irresponsible statement favouring militancy related activities, including removal of troops from militancy-affected areas, providing more facilities to surrendered militants and their families and discouraging the nationalist forces, who are in favour of total integration with the country. The double standard adopted by Congress is again a challenge for the people of state, especially Jammu region, he maintained.
Arora alleged the people of Pul-Doda, who were facing threats of dislocation, are not settled properly at a proper place, VDCs members are not provided relief, unemployed youth is frustrated and the price-hike is uncontrollable.
He said now the time has come when the Jammuties should discourage hypocrite and seasonal leaders who change their stand with the change of season.
