| Police solves burglary cases, 8 thieves landed in custody | | | Early Times Reporter Bandipora | Mar 20 Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday solved four computer burglary cases by arresting eight thieves in Bandipora. Police claimed to have recovered computers and stabilizers worth Rs 2.50 lakh from the accused. Station House Officer (SHO) Bandipora Abdul Khalid Karnai told News Agency of Kashmir said that following the series of burglaries, Bandipora police constituted a special investigative team. We managed to bust gang of burglars which had created a reign of terror in the area by decamping with valuable from various places. "All the eight accused persons in the network are the local residents of Bandipora," said Karnai. He added that some other accused, named by the persons in custody, were at large and efforts were on to nab them. The SHO further said that police has solved various cases of burglaries, which took place in Alooosa and Bandipora markets including Higher Secondary Aloosa during last couples of months. The arrested persons have been identified as Tariq Ahmed Ganie, Anyatullah Dar, Irshad Akhoon, Irshad Mir, Tanveer Khan, Adil Amin shah. SHO informed that the police recovered five computers stolen from Higher Secondary School Aloosa, 4KV Stabilizers and an Amplifier of Jamia Masjid Aaloosa that costs about Rs 2.50 Lakh rupees.
