In connection with forth coming Jagriti Manch Yatra, regarding the celebration of tricentury of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, a delegation of Sikhs comprising various organizations, called on MLC and deputy chairman, legislative council, Arvinder Singh Micky, here today. On this occasion, the Sikh leaders gave their valuables suggestions for making the better arrangements during Yatra. While the Sangat also appreciated the nomination of Mahant Manjeet Singh as all India Committee Member for Jammu and Kashmir State.
During the meet, Micky assured the deputation that he will meet with the chief minister regard the arrangements during the Yatra as the CM has already constituted a committee under minister of higher education, Gulchain Singh Charak and minister of state for CAPD, Manjeet Singh to supervise the arrangements in this regard.
Among others who spoke on the occasion were, Amrik Singh Advocate, Makhan Singh, Jarnail Singh Khalsa, Capt. Hazara Singh members DGPC, Gurbachan Singh Datta, Dayal Singh Wazir, Gurdev Singh of (SAD), Mohinder Singh chief organizer, Bhai Kanahiya Nishkam Seva Society, Narvir Singh, K.D Singh, Prof. Hardev Singh, Prof. Ajeet Singh, Mohinder Singh Khalsa, Rajinder Singh, Jujhar Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Kalyan Singh, Kultar Singh, Davinder Singh, Prem Singh, Ajmeet Singh, Harjeet Singh Kartar etc.
