Charging the coalition government of ignoring the important issues of the people of border belts of Poonch, Youth National Conference Provincial Secretary Aijaz Ahmed Jan has said that the tall claims of the providing good governance and all the basic facilities have proved hoax.
Addressing series of public meetings at Loran, Plara, Gagrian, Jullas, Mandi, Sathra and Gutriyan, the YNC leader said the condition of the district Hospital Poonch is pathetic as out of 16 sanctioned posts of doctors only six are available. The doctors posted in the hospital have not joined their duties since long as a result the people are badly suffering.
He said despite a net work of dispensaries and other medical centres, neither the doctors are posted nor are medicines available.
Accusing coalition government of adopting pick and choose policy in providing essentials and other basic facilities in the district, Jan said government has provided free rations only to selected areas and ignored many deserving ones. He asked the government as to what criterion has been adopted for including one area and ignoring others.
Block presidents and senior other party leaders of the district also addressed these meetings.
