| Strengthen NC: Bimla asks women folk | | | Early Times Reporter

Calling upon the women folk to come forward and strengthen the National Conference, former MLA and Provincial President Women Wing, Bimla Luthra has said that the NC is the only political party in the state representing the aspirations of the people of all the three regions of the state.
She was addressing a function organized by the women wing of the party at Kalyana in R S Pura today.
Asking women folk not to restrict themselves only to their homes, the Women leaders impressed upon them to come forward and work shoulder to shoulder with men in every field.
She, on this occasion, distributed bed sheets and blankets among the poor and needy women.
Romesh Motan, who addressed the gathering, said the present coalition regime cannot befool common masses any more with their false and hollow slogans. He said the people of the state are waiting for an appropriate time to teach a lesson to the government, which has ditched them by making false promises which they never fulfilled.
Among other Ranjit Singh Chib, Satwant Kour, Rita Gupta and Veena Oberio were also present on the occasion.
