State Gujjar officers club today felicitated veteran Gujjar leader Mian Bashir Ahmed on his conferment of third highest civilian award of the country 'Padam Bushan'.
The leaders of Gujjar officers club organized a function in this connection here at Press club and presented a shawl and a memento to Mian Bashir Ahmed for his contribution to the community.
While speaking on the occasion, various leaders of the community hailed the efforts of Mian Bashir for the upliftment of poor and down trodden people of the state particularly the members of the community.
Addressing the gathering, Mian Bashir said that he would continue to work for the betterment of the people of the state.
He further said that India and Pakistan should work out the policies to create better relationship between the two neighbouring countries. |
