| Throat silt body recovered from forest area | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 23 While a non- local shopkeeper died suspiciously at Lamayuru Khalsi, a throat slit body of a middle aged man, who was abducted by some militants from his residence some days back, was recovered from the forest area of Kuligam. Police sources said that one person namely Ravi Kumar S/o Samer Chand Choudary R/o Manhari District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh working as shopkeeper with unit 81 A.P at Lamayuru Khalsi died under suspicious conditions. Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr PC to ascertain the cause of death. Meanwhile, corpse of a forty-year-old man, who was abducted by the militants some days back, was recovered from the forest area of his village, Sharat Kuligam. Police said that some unidentified militants forcibly abducted him and killed him by slitting his throat and then dumped his body in the nearby jungle. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Majid Piswal, S/o Jamma Piswal R/o Shrat Kuligam. Police has registered a case in this regard and has launched a manhunt to nab the killers. |
