Panun Kashmir on Sunday expressed "concern" at the situation in Tibet and extended support to the Tibetans.
"We express serious concern over the conditions prevailing in Tibet. We also extend full support to the cause of Tibetan people," its chairman Agnishekhar told reporters here on Sunday.
Agnishekhar said the Kashmiri Pandits have centuries-old relations with the Tibetan people."Kashmiri Pandits used to visit Tibet and played a role in the spread of Buddhism," he said.
Indian government must support the cause of Tibetans, he said. |
