| Third front in J&K state only viable option: Mir | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of intellectuals and professionals drawn from various walks of life of Jammu division was held here, where in they extended their support to the former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir asking him to lead the state in next assembly elections. As per press release, the co-ordination committee of intellectuals and professionals also elected their convenor. Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir said that it was because of the fact that political parties were not operating dramatically that the need of formation of a third front was felt. A third front a democratically strong front will emerge in the state will emerge in the next elections. Those who attended include S. Narinder Singh, Maj Gen. B.N. Dhar, and Dr. D.K Kapoor, S. Amarjeet Singh, Zulfikar Malik, Virender Singh Chib, Abdul Jabbar Lone and others. |
