| 34 bovine recovered | | | Early Times Reporter

Thirty four bovine were recovered in Udhampur district during patrolling/naka checking laid by Police at different places as has been reported since last night : Seven bovine were recovered from one Tata Mobile bearing registration No. 1146/JK02R at Mian Bagh during a checking. Police recovered eleven bovine from a truck during checking. Truck was seized and three persons including driver namely Rifat Rashid Bhat S/o Ab. Rashid, Tariq Ahmed S/o Gul Mohd both residents of Brif Bikra and Mohd. Nazir S/o Mohd. Yousuf r/o Miran Sahib were arrested. Case stands registered at PS Rehmbal. PP Tikri recovered 16 bovine from a truck bearing registration NO. 3925/JKO2D during a checking. The truck along with bovine seized. Driver of the truck was absconding. Moreover, Police of Ramsoo seized four trucks bearing registration Nos. 9301/JK02R 1975/JK02V, 9287/JK02N and 2685/JK02L and their drivers namely Ab. Majid S/o Sakhi Gujja r/o Bishnah, Vijay Kumar S/o Amar Nath r/o Sunderbani, Javid Ahmed S/o Rafiq r/o Bathendi, Jammu and Manzoor Ahmed S/o Khan Mohd. r/o Bathendi were arrested when they were carrying bovine from Jammu to Srinagar. Meanwhile Ramnagar police recovered seventy one ltrs of Diesel from the possession of one Subash Chander S/o Parkash Chand r/o Khagole while selling it without permission. However, police registered a case. |
