24 Health Centers found locked, salaries of 4 BMOs withheld

Rajouri, Nov 9: To ensure regularity, punctuality, work culture and to check the absenteeism, Special teams, constituted on the directions of District Development Commis-sioner Rajouri, Mohd. Aijaz Asad were constituted to conduct Inspections in various Health Institutions. Separate teams led by Additional Deputy Commissioners, sub-divisional magistrates, Tehsildars and Naib tehsildars conducted the checking simultaneously in various health institutions in the district in the morning.
During this surprise check, a total of 120 institutions were inspected which includes, 26 health institutions in Nowshera,25 health institutions in Sunderbani,,19 health institutions in Kalakote,20 health institutions in Darhal,26 health institutions in manjakote and 04 health institutions in Kandi.
During this surprise check it was found that 06 health institutions in Nowshera found locked,05 health institutions in SunderbanI were found locked,05 health institutions in kalakote were found locked,02 health institutions in darhal were found locked,05 health institutions in manjakote were found locked and 01 health institution in Kandi was found locked in the field, for which CMO Dr. Suresh Gupta has been asked to report in the Matter, to initiate strict disciplinary action. Meanwhile the salary of BMO Sunderbani,BMO Nowshera,BMO kalakote ,BMO Manjakote has been withheld till further orders.
Meanwhile during checking it was found that 30 employees were found absent in an unauthorised manner, 94 were on leave, till the last report came in. An explanation is being sought from CMO and BMOs whether they have followed the Leave Rules in sanctioning leave of such a large number of officials/ employees.
