Adbi Kunj holds literary tributes meet

Jammu, Nov 9: Continuing with its regular multifaceted literary activities, Adbi Kunj held a condolence literary meet on the eve of 3rd death anniversary ( 5 November 2018) of veteran journalist and Former Chairman and founding editor of Kashmir Times Group of publication Ved Bhasin. A large number of literary activist participated from the different parts of the state. The meet was presided over by a renowned poet Girdhari Lal Rahi while the chief Guest of the meet were Masoom Kishtwari, S. Kulbir Singh Badal (from Patiala Punjab) whereas Abdul Jabar Butt (From Kishtwar) conducted the proceeding of the meet. In his welcome address, Sham Talib President of the organization greets people on the festival of Diwali. While paying their tributes to Late Ved Bhasin, Sham Talib, Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman and members of the presidium and other participants highlighted the remarkable services of Ved Bhasin for the upliftment of journalism in J&K State and his continuation in the various field of literature. In the opening of poetic roundup, renowned singer Chaman Sagosh sang specially a Deepawali Song 'Aaya-Deepon-Ka-Tehwar." The other poets who were present on the occasion include Aarash Dalmotra, Masoom Kishtwari, Kulbir Singh Badal, Abdul Jabbar Butt, Girdhari Lal Rahi, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Sanjeev Kumar, Jailender Kumar Bassan, Uttam Singh Rahi, Rajeev Kumar, S.K. Gupta, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal and Sham Talib.
The vote of thanks was presented by Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman of Adbi Kunj Jammu.
