Early Times Report

Rajouri, Nov 9: A BSF constable namely Amit was injured when Pakistan army's sniper shooters hit him at forward location in Ghambhir sector in Rajouri district today.
For the last few days reportedly Pakistan army in nexus with terrorist organisations has been planning to strike in big way on the Line of Control either by executing BAT action or by targeting Indian soldiers.
On November 6 and today Pakistani Sniper shooters have made an unsuccessful attempt to execute fatal injuries to Indian soldiers.
BSF sources said at about 9 am today Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian forward locations in which constable Amit while on duty at forward location in Ghambhir sector in Rajouri district received bullet injuries and was rescued to the hospital.
Sources said that constable Amit was airlifted to a hospital at Jammu but was not confirmed by the BSF sources.
Reliable sources said to execute its nefarious design Pakistani soldiers have been targeting the forward posts with Sniper rifles or the trained BAT members including terrorists after sneaking close to the LoC attempting to hit the Indian soldiers with Sniper shots.
This was very evident from the reported BAT action under the jurisdiction of Khour Police post (Akhnoor) in Sunderbani sector on November 21 in which three soldiers of 8 JAK Li had attained martyrdom and reportedly two Pakistani rangers were killed.
On November 6, Naik Subhash of Rashtriya Rifles was injured in Kalal area in Nowshera sub district. The firing was effectively retaliated by the Indian army and one Pakistani soldier Zaheer Ahmed was killed in Thub sector of LoC.
According to reports few terrorists whose contacts were found in the mobile phones of the terrorists killed in an encounter at Kakriyal near SMVDU on September 13 , are active across the LoC facing many years in Rajouri-Poonch district and reportedly are planning another BAT action.
