Sprawling Buds School is organizing first school sport climbing championship at MNDP School R S Pura on March 27.
This was decided in a meeting of the Board of Directors of the school, convened to come to a decision about the utilization of prize money of Rs 5100 presented to the school by Minister for Roads and Buildings, Jugal Kishore Sharma on the occasion of annual function held recently.
“The school championship shall be conducted in three categories of sub-junior, junior boys-girls and open men and women with the technical collaboration of Tawi Trekkers, J&K,” Principal of the school, Pooja Sharma told ET.
She also informed that after the event is over, the competitors shall also visit the Indo-Pak border at Suchetgarh.
Meanwhile, to provide exposure to the students, the school has also planned to construct a 16 ft high practice wall in the school premises. |
