| Dhruv Mahajan shines in ICL tourney | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 25 Playing for the Delhi Giants, former Ranji Trophy captain and all-rounder, Dhruv Mahajan gave an exceptional performance proving his talent in the ongoing Indian Cricket League (ICL) Twenty-20 tourney at Gurgaon. Dhruv’s heroic knock fashioned the Delhi Giants victory over Hyderabad Heros. Finding the Hyderabad Heros close to the target needing just 15 runs with four wickets in hand in the last over, Delhi Giants skipper handed the ball over to Dhruv, who clinched two wickets restricting the opponents to 130 runs in 20 overs. Earlier, Dhruv Mahajan played fine innings of 36 runs guiding his side to set a competitive target of 137 runs. Dhruv was later adjudged man of the match for his match winning performance. Youngster among the Delhi Giants, Dhruv joined the ICL along with pacer from Srinagar Abid Nabi in October. The exceptional performance of the Jammu lad was celebrated by the cricket lovers, his friends and family members back home.
