| Residents of Sector-2 Channi Himmat hold meeting | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 12: A public meeting was held at Main Park of Sector 2 Channi Himmat Ward No. 50. It was organized by Hitesh Gupta; a local resident and was attended by BJP Corporator Channi Himmat Ward No. 50 Neena Gupta and large number of locals. The agenda of the meeting is to introduce the councillor and residents and also to discuss the problems being faced by them. During the meeting locals apprised Neena Gupta about their problems which includes sanitation & cleanliness, installation or repair of street lights, and problems related to water and roads.
Neena Gupta while speaking said that she will definitely sort out the problems which bring to her notice by the locals from time to time. She said that the drive of cleanliness and sanitation is going on daily basis to provide healthy living standards to the residents of Channi Himmat and rest all the problems will be addressed in upcoming days. She said that soon after the council starts working, she asks the respective authorities for smooth working of their concerned department and for quick disposal of the problems being faced by public. Neena said that BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi feels duty-bound to serve the common people. She said the aim of conducting this meeting was to address public grievances at grassroots level and the BJP would conduct such meetings on a regular basis where people can come and approach it for any type of problem. |
