| Implement 6th pay commission recommendation in Toto: Majid Khan | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 25 President All J&K Law Paid Employees Federation (LPEF), Abdul Majid Khan has urged upon the state government that without any hitch, recommendation of sixth central pay commission he implemented in favour of state employees and pensioners. As per LPEF handout, Khan said delaying recommendation will hit badly serving class, as prices of essential items are touching new heights day by day. He said all the recommendation into Toto be approved, and asked the state government to announce its decision in implementing 6th pay commission report soon. The federation chief said that federation has instructed all its units to mobilize employees all over the state for this purpose and the federation has decided to hold massive demonstrations at regional level in the last week of April at Jammu and in the first week of May at Srinagar to raise strong voice in support of aforementioned and several other common as well as sectional demands such as release of 6% D.A installment from January 2008, raising retirement age to 60 years monthly medical allowance to Rs. 500/- minimum daily wage to Rs. 100/- regularization of daily wage workers village guards and Ret teachers etc and for early redressal of outstanding grievances of teachers, clerks, class IV employees and employees belonging to other categories and cadres working in all government department. |
