An amount of Rs. 35,000 was distributed among the ex-servicemen, widows and children by Zila Sanik board authorities here today.
While addressing the gathering Zila Sanik officer, Lt. Col. R.L Gangyal apprised the gathering about various schemes launched by the army for welfare of army personnel and their families. He asked them to get names of their family members registered with Zila Sanik board, Amphalla Jammu and avail benefits launched for their welfare, which include medical facilities also. Earlier, Lt. Col. Gangyal on the occasion, presented Rs. 2000 to Param Veer Chakra awarded S.Bana Singh for his bravery in serving the country. |
