| Mangat visits Karan Nagar locality | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 25 Socio-economic upliftment of people and development of infrastructure including provision for all basic amenities has been the primary motive of present government during its five year tenure, said Minister for Health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma while interacting with the members of welfare committee Karan Nagar Jammu where he visited last evening to take stock of developmental needs of the area. Minister for R&B Jugal Kishore Sharma, Chief Engineer R&B Jammu Nazir Ahmad and other senior engineers accompanied the Minster. Sharma said as per the demand of locals the necessary renovation work of Maharaja Hari Singh Park would be taken up at the earliest. He said all the link roads, lanes and drains would also be repaired by R&B department and Municipal Corporation after completing the formalities. He said to overcome the scarcity of drinking water supply old pipe lines would be replaced by new ones in the area. Sharma said focused attention has been given towards the up gradation and improvement of basic amenities of the constituency over all these years. He said most of the link roads, lanes and drains were constructed and renovated besides augmentation of portable Health Minister appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of Azad led government for realizing the dream of Khushal Jammu and Kashmir. He asked them to monitor the execution of development works taken up in their areas to check misuse public exchequer. Several political and social leaders including President Welfare Committee Karan Nagar Brij Pal Singh, Secretary M. L. Fotedar, Prof. B. K. Sahani, Mr. D. S. Salathia, Bharat former MLA, Vinod Sachdeva, D. R. Mengi were among others who also addressed the public meeting and hailed the efforts of Health Minister for fulfilling the development needs of the constituency and extended their wholehearted support to him on all fronts. |
