| Loomba relinquishing command soon | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 25 Major General Sanjeev Loomba is relinquishing command of the prestigious Tiger Division in next couple of days to take over as Chief Instructor at Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. Loomba, during his career, has taken part in Counter Insurgency Operations in Nagaland, has served as Brigade Major in J&K, Commanded as Armoured Regiment in Punjab and was Brigadier General Staff of a Prestigious Strike Corps. A graduate from Defence Service Staff College, Wellington, M Phil from Madras University and Master in Management Sciences from Osmania University, Loomba has done phenomenally well during his career. For having successfully completed the Joint Services Staff College Course from Canberra, Australia, the General Officer Commanding was awarded a graduate diploma in International Strategic Studies from University of Deakin, Australia. The General has immensely contributed towards formulation of Joint Doctrines and perspective planning during this tenure with Perspective Planning Directorate at Army Headquarters. |
