| Forha demands employment package for youth in railway department | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 27 Accusing Congress led coalition for turning the blind eye towards the problems of young generation, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) state president Gh. Nabi Forah today demanded special employment package in Railway department for the unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir. While addressing a function organized in connection with the joining of some persons in RJD here today, Gh. Nabi Forah criticized the coalitions government for its failure in providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of the state. RJD state president while lambasting NC and PDP for playing family politics in the state; he accused congress for not fulfilling genuine demands of the people despite being given a handsome amount of money by the center. He, however appealed railway minister who is also national president of RJD to announce a special employment package in railway department for the youth of state and sought their absorption in railway department and railway police. Criticizing coalition government's recent decision of re-employing retried Tehsildars in revenue department, Forha alleged that government has took only this decision in order to adjust their near and dear ones, adding that when thousands of Law graduates in the state were running from pillar to post for getting a job. He further demanded that whole state of Jammu and Kashmir should be declared as socially and economically backward so that young generation can get jobs and other benefits in private and public sectors throughout the country. Earlier, he welcomed Vijay Kumar and Bakhtwar Malik for joining RJD with their supporters and said that their joining would strength party image in the state. On the occasion Forha nominated Rakesh Mahajan as general secretary, Bakhtawar Malik as secretary and Vijay Kumar as district president Jammu city. Others present on the occasion included Nazir Ahamed Gurkhoo, Gh. Mohd. Mir, Dharam Pal Katariya, Vivek Gupta, Mohd. Ismil Zarger, Zalufkar Ali Vijay Bindroo , Davinder Kumar and others. |
