JAMMU, Nov 18: To promote the spirit of national integration among youth and to show full solidarity with soldiers, Nehru Yuva Kender Sangathan, Jammu under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India organized a visit of Suchetgarh international border and a street rally at village Suchetgarh along with local residents thereby to leave a message of unity with them.
On the occasion, SS Kashyap, Director NYKS J&K state along with DYC , Jammu Nissar Ahemad Batt and Rampal Sharma ACT, Rampaul Dogra were present with volunteers.
The tour was started from Nagrota camp with 100 volunteers, reached at Amar Mahal to show them dogra history, heritage, monuments and then reached at Suchetgarh where under BSF guidelines and protection youth dressed in their respective atire were taken to zero point of Indo pak border in various groups. BSF personnels narrated the history of border. Youth captured the moment in cellphone and salute them for their high duty towards country. |
