All J&K plus 2 Lecturers Forum has felicitated G A Peer, on his taking over as Secretary Education at a function here today.
H D Qureshi, the State Chief of the Forum while speaking on this occasion expressed his confidence that with the appointment of G A Peer as Secretary Education the long pending issues of the Cadre will be resolved which included regularization of Incharge Lecturers and Principals, besides removal of pay anomalies.
Malik Mohammad Usman, President Kashmir Province in his address expressed his gratitude to the State Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for appointing Peer as Secretary Education who is well versed with the functioning of the Department as he is having a rich experience in School Education as Director School Education Kashmir and hoped that all the pending issues will be resolved during his tenure.
Responding to the sentiments of the speakers the newly appointed Secretary assured to accelerate the regularization process and other issues raised by the Forum.
He also sought co-operation of the cadre at senior secondary level for upgrading the standards of Education.
A K Raina Director School Education, who was the guest of honour on this occasion, said the issues raised by the Forum are already on the Government’s agenda and would be further accelerated. |
