JKNPP has extended its support to the people of Kathua in its struggle against growing pollution caused by the industries.
The people under the banner of Anti-Pollution Joint Action Committee have launched a campaign denouncing the growing industrial pollution in the town.
Extending his party’ support to the Action Committee, Hari Chand Jalmeria , State Secretary JKNPP, has condemned the government for protecting the polluting industrialists and ignoring the protest of the people against growing pollution which has made their life miserable. The Government and the administration, which is in hand in glove with law violators have not taken any action against the polluters but instead have been resorting to police action against the protesting people. This exposes the ulterior nexus between those in power and the polluters.
Jalmeria has asked the government to accept the genuine demands of the people who have decided to resort to fast unto death in support of its demand. |
