| Kupwara, Kathua among winners in State hockey | | | Early Times Reporter

District Kupwara and Kathua made a winning start in the State Hockey Championship which went underway today at K K Hakhu Stadium here under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Hockey Association (JKHA).
While Kathua defeated Srinagar by six goals to one, Kupwara outplayed Rajouri by a solitary goal. The only goal for Kupwara was scored by Vinod Kumar in the 4th minute of the match.
In other two matches of the day, district Poonch blanked Budgam 9-0 and Anantnag trounced Kulgam by six goals to one. |
