| Over-speedy minibuses ram into causeway | | | Early Times Reporter

More than fifty passengers and pedestrians had a miraculous escape when two mini-buses in an attempt to overtake each other skidded off the road and rammed into causeway on Jammu–Pathankot National Highway near Kaluchak on Saturday.
The minibuses, JK02N-4860 and JK08A-3955, were on way from Bari Brahmana to Jammu when the accident took place, sources told News Agency of Kashmir.
They said that driver of the vehicles were trying to lead each other and were driving more then 90 kilometers per hour speed on the busy highway.
The vehicles with each other and skidded off the road near Kaluchak. More than fifty passengers were traveling in both the mini-buses at the time of the accident, they added. |
