| LAHDC commited for over development of Kargil: Khan | | | Early Times Reporter

The Executive Counciallor for Animal and sheep husbanry, LAHDC for Kargil Kacho Gulzar Hussain Khan has underscored the need for an integrated agricultural development plan for over all social economics transformation of hilly district Kargil.
Speaking at an awareness camp orgainzed by the sheep husbandry department , Kargil under ASCAD at Mulbekh of Shargole block yesterday, he urged for coordinated efforts to accelerate government developmental temo. He said that hill council was committed to provide suffficient funds under agriculture and allied sector to make better infrastructure development in the district, so that argirculture production is boosted to increase the economy of the farmer, he sought people's cooperation and stressed to resist demanding subsidy in every welfare schemes.
To make farmers aware about various diesease under which sheep and goats are suffering frequently and their prevention measures. The experts and veterinary doctors delivered their lectures on the topic like common disease in sheep and goats and its prevention, treatment and control importance of dosing and vaccination, crea of pregnant animals and newly born limbs/kids, importance of Pashmina corss breeds etc.
Earlier, district sheep husbandry officer K K Parotra gave a brief resume of the activites of the department in the district. |
