| Two HM militants surrender | | | Early Times Reporter

A local militant organization Hizbul-Mujahideen received a set back when its two militants surrendered before the troops in a village of mountain bound Doda district on Saturday.
Defence spokesman, S.D. Goswamy told that Two Hizb militants laid down their arms before the troops of Police and Army in Bhalesa area of Doda district.
The surrendered militants have handed over 7.62 Self Loading Rifle – two, Magazine – four, Radio Sets – two, Binocular – one and assorted ammunitions – 69 Nos to the Security Forces.
Surrendered militants have been identified as Md Sharif and Khadim Hussain both from HM outfit. They have been active since last two years in Gandoh, Hadal area in Doda district of J&K, Goswamy added. |
