Sehaj beats Arshad to bag district Squash title

Young Sehaj Gulati today clinched the Jammu District Squash Championship beating an equally good Arshad Khan in straight sets at Jammu Club squash court, here today.
In the first set, Arshad fought well making it a close contest but could not pick the drops in the second set losing the set 9-4 and the match also. The score: 9-7, 9-4.
In the junior category, Rohit Verma and Parteek Vikas have reached the final. The final has been scheduled for tomorrow. Today’s matches were officiated by Krishan Kumar, Manjeet Singh and Gagandeep Singh.
Meanwhile, according to general secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Squash Rackets Association, G S Bakshi, the two-day state open squash championship shall start from tomorrow at the same venue.
