Minister for health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma on Sunday fell ill when he was distributing prices among players at Bakshi stadium on the conclusion of a Cricket tournament. He was later admitted in Government Medical College where doctors kept him under observation.
According to eyewitnesses minister complained of dizziness in the middle of the price distribution function and sat on the chair, as he turned pale.
The organizers immediately rang to Government Medical College wherefrom a team of senior doctors led by GMC Principal Dr. Rajinder Singh reached the spot.
The doctors' attending him later decided to keep the minister under observation in GMC and was not discharged till the last reports came in. |
