| Un-employed engineer, ITI technicians enter day 365 | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 30 The Bhartiya Janta Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national president Amit Thakkar visited Mubarak Mandi and express solidarity with agitating unemployed engineers and ITI electricians. Thakkar, who was a day visit of the state to address a Yuva Sankalp rally at Kathua preferred to meet agitating youth before leaving for Kathua. President of the associations Rakesh Sharma and Rajeev Sharma while narrating their woes, told the BJYM presidents that they have been on continuous dhrana for the last one year but the government has not taken any step to meet their genuine demands. They said that no appointment has been made since 1981. it was in during governor’s rule 1996 that a few candidates were appointed in PDD as technician 3rd. They further disclosed that there are number of posts lying vacant in PDD pertaining to tech-3rd and further stated that their services are needed in 37 different department but due to the indifferent attitude of the state government they are sitting idle. Thakkar expressed surprise over the anti youth policies being adopted by the government. He assured the leaders of BJYM’s full support and said that their issue will be taken up with the BJP National leaders and raise the same in parliaments in next session. He also assured them that the BJYM will raise their issue with the president of India and seek her intervention so that justice is delivered. Meanwhile dharna of unemployed engineers entered 364 day today and are demanding the implementation of Rehbar-e-Tamirat scheme in their favour. |
