Aman Sharma of Samba clinched gold in under-14 year Sabre Individual event in the State Open Fencing Championship organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Fencing Association at Indoor Complex, M A Stadium, here today.
Second place in the same event went to Rohit Mishra of Jammu while Kunal Mishra of Jammu and Javed Ahmed of Royal Club shared third place.

U-14 Sabre individual: Aman Sharma, Samba, Ist; Rohit Mishra, Jammu, 2nd; Kunal Mishra of Jammu and Javed Ahmed (Royal Club), joint third.
U-17 Epee girls team event: Friends Club (Sanchit, Gourav Sharma and Souvagya), Ist; Royal Club (Vikas, Janam, Vir Sangram Singh), 2nd; Ramban district (Rishav, Bahadur Singh and Kewal Singh) and Udhampur (Deepak, Bharat Bhushan and Abhinav), joint third.
Under-14 Sabre girls team event: Reasi (Surbhi Antal, Reena Devi and Neena Devi), Ist; Jammu (Devyani Rajput, Mokshi Sharma and Shriya Chib), 2nd; Kathua (Itiksha Verma, Munil Upadhaya and Uma Bhawani) and Samba (Aradana Chohan, Palak Upadhaya, Aradhana Sharma and Aishwarya Sharma), joint third. |
