Addressing a satsang organized by Sant Ashram Ranjrhi at Chanderbhaga community hall here today. Sadguru Paramhnsji Maharaj said that in this Kalyug a set of people operating under the garb of Dharma, had made it a means of earning their livelihood. These people he said have been defrauding and exploiting the gullible people of this country and thereby earning huge amounts of money. They claim to be in possession of occult powers and brighten the public of ghostly effects, black magic and planetary evil effects etc. Then they extract large amounts on the name of warding off evil effects. Others, who have access to higher echelons of society, resort to more sophisticated means to make money. Sadguru Maharaj further said that “some Baba ji” was granting “Art of living" for Rs fifteen hundred. Some indulged in charging hefty amounts for granting membership to their organization on their webistes were apealing for subscription in their given bank account numbers. Plethora of advertisements could be seen daily for Sadhna Campus, booking tickets for Yoga Shivirs and Shaktipaat. All of them save a few genuine people, charge heavy amount for their services. They lure thousands and thousands of people and lakhs of rupees are being thus collected. “Are not these people making a brisk business?" He said the paradox of the situation is that some people have now even come out with claims of providing guarantees of “Mukti (salvaton) in lieu of amount". It is Mukti a commodity like gold and jewels, whihc can be purchased by the affluent people?" he equipped and said that these people have falsified religion and spirituality. They have polluted Bhakti. “What a plight of this land of great Rishi- Munis and sants?" He appealed the rational people and the intellectuals of the country ponder over this subject and caution the public accordingly. He further said out aim is to awaken the spiritual consciousness of the people irrespective of their social standings. Human birth is too precious, even a single breadth cannot be squandered way. It is the rates of the rare opportunities for self-realization. One must however clearly understand that this cannot be achieved barely by reading books, listening to stories of repeatedly chanting mantras. No magic, no occult sciences or mantra is capable to compel him. That infinite supreme power is beyond limits; all your attempts to bind him or to reach him by resorting to such tactics may not yield results. It is a subject matter of self-experience (Anubhuti) that can be imparted by someone who has known him by his own experience, not through books, he said. |
