Jammu | Mar 31
Decrying the government for total neglect, striking unemployed engineers have said that the yearlong struggle has yielded nothing except trouble for them.
Addressing media persons here on Monday, President Jammu and Kashmir Unemployed Engineers Association, Rajeev Sharma said that government, during all the 365 days of strike gave only assurances but did nothing practically.
"All the ministers gave us assurances from time to time but nothing was done practically to relieve the unemployed engineers of state," he added.
He further said that the striking engineers during 365 days of their strike did every thing to pressurize government for implementation of Rehber-e- Tamirat scheme but government never demonstrated its commitment to implement it despite its promise on the floor of house last year.
