| ‘PDP Pakistan's mouthpiece in J&K’: says Khajuria | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 31 ‘Describing the Peoples Democratic Party as mouthpiece of Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir’, BJP State President Ashok Khajuria today lambasted PDP President Mehbooba Mufti for advocating from the Pakistani soil the proposals designed to enable Pakistan to share sovereignty with India. Addressing media persons here today, Khajuria said that Mehbooba is securing accommodation of worst form of communalism as a tool to ensure the segregation of Jammu and Kashmir from India. "Her dual power sharing arrangement and its subsequent combination into the framework of Indian and Pakistan polity formulation is a clear proof that the PDP is simply a Pakistan mouthpiece in Jammu and Kashmir," he added. Decrying the Congress led coalition governments both at Centre and State levels, Khajuria said that whatever views the PDP is preaching in and outside India have the full backing of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre and the Congress-led ruling coalition in Jammu and Kashmir. "Had the Congress-led UPA government taken cognizance of Mehbooba Mufti's March 28 statement of Islamabad's fair deal for the people of Kashmir and 'We should not be treated like another state', it would have by now initiated legal proceedings against the PDP president," he added. He further said that the very fact that Congress has maintained silence over Mehbooba Mufti's anti-India fulminations is a proof that the Congress and the PDP are working together to unsettle everything in Kashmir and accommodate communalism and those taking recourse to terror tactics in order to frighten the minorities and dismember India. "It is the Congress which is the main culprit; the root cause of the whole problem, the nation has been facing not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across India," alleged Ashok Khajuria. |
