Despite the assurances made by the DC and PHE department to solve the problem of drinking water scarcity the people of the ward no. 17, organized a protest demonstration against the water scarcity here today. The protest was led by district president, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Sain Dass Gupta said that since two month ago. The administration and PHE authorities assured the people that the drinking water problem would be solved in some time but till date no action has been taken in this regard and as a result the people had forced to come on roads and block the highway. Among other who joined the protest were Ajay Khajuria, Vijay Kumar and Ashu Sharma. |
