Jammu, Dec 4: The concerned drawing and disbursing officers have allegedly fudged the records and entered new names, with the result the budget incurred on salaries of the daily wagers has doubled.
Sources said as huge amount has incurred on the regularisation of these daily wagers, the government has started the process of scrutinising the cases, which will however take years together.
Sources said the previous coalition in the state was also in know of the matter and as the move was a political decision it had adopted a wait and watch policy. However, the Governor's administration has started reviewing of cases one by one, with the result the process has been delayed.
Sources said the constant delay over the issuance of orders in favour of employees has generated a lot of resentment among the working class who continue agitation in support of their demand.
The delay has also revealed the inefficiency of previous coalition which failed to implement it's policy decision during it's tenure and announced the regularisation without giving proper thought to it
The previous coalition's decision proved a big fraud with working class based on exploitation of their sentiments. |
