Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 31 The J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) Jammu wing have strongly criticized the working of both state and centre government, which has failed to check prices of essential commodities. Addressing the meeting state president LPEF, Abdul Majid Khan said a massive demonstration will be held at Jammu an first week of April and another at Srinagar during first week of May. He said, that the government should implement recommendations of 6th pay commission simultaneously as and when the same is granted in favor of central employees. He also pleaded for raising of retirement age of state employees and increase of medical allowances up to Rs. 600 P.M along with increases in wage of daily workers and settlement for long pending demands of workers of public sector undertaking etc. present many others in the meeting were Provincial president Kashmir, Mir Ghulam Rasool, General Secretary Om Parkash Sharma, Giani Avtar Singh, President, provincial teachers association, Krishan Singh, President, Provincial clerk associations, Haji Abdul Rashid Lone, President, All J&K animal husbandry employees associations, Abdul Latif, General secretary, sheep and wool workers associations, Thakar Dass, president, provincial village guards union, Abdul Majid Poonchi, Prem Chand Sharma, president, provincial electric employees union. |
