| Suspected militant hideouts busted in Rajouri, Poonch | | | Jammu, Aug 28: Security forces busted suspected militant hideouts in the Rajouri and Poonch Districts, recovering a large quantity of arms and ammunition over the weekend. The recovered cache included 5.6 kilograms of Research and Development Explosives (RDX) and four kilograms of Trinitrotoluene (TNT) explosive. In Mandi, four kilograms of TNT were recovered from a suspected hideout in a forest area.
Two Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGL) along with 21 grenades, two Chinese hand grenades, six anti-tank rifle grenades, four 82-mm mortar bombs, and one missile type bomb were also recovered.
In another incident in Chai Forest in Rajouri’s Budhal area, 5.6 kgs of RDX, seven electronic detonators, one kg of shrapnel and one bayonet were recovered. |
