| Two accused charge sheeted in cheating case | | ‘Prepared forged Matriculation certificate for getting regularized’ | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 1 The Crime Branch after in depth investigation and evidence on record has established a prima facie case of cheating against the accused and presented a charge sheet against them in the court of law for judicial determination. Acting on a communication received from Deputy Secretary Legal Board of School Education, Srinagar, wherein it was alleged that Shamus-ur-Rehman s/o Ghulam Nabi Rather of Ajas Sonawari had produced fake Matriculation certificate, on the basis of which his services were regularized, the Crime Branch registered a case FIR NO 28/06 for in depth investigation. During the course of investigation, certificate in question was seized and persons well versed with the facts of the case were examined. During investigation it emerged that accused Shamus-ur-Rehman, in connivance with Farooq Ahmed Kaboo s/o Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of Arampora Sopore, hatched a criminal conspiracy and prepared a forged Matriculation certificate in favour of the accused Shamus-ur-Rehman, who produced the same before the authorities of Kishen Ganga Hydel Project Bandipora for regularization. After prima facie establishing the charge, the Crime Branch today presented the charge before the court of law. |
